Did I scare you? No? Dang it - I really have to work on that! I love Halloween, even as a full grown person, I love to dress up, even if all I’m doing is handing out candy. This afternoon I will start making shadow bags to place all the way down the long and scary back driveway.
I’ve writen about this old house before, a beauiful brick on a corner lot, built before there were income taxes, she’s one of the Grand Dames sprinkled around this old neighborhood. I’ve told you about the back garden, my own little haven for birds and peaceful reading, but after dark it becomes a wild thing. It is down this pathway, curving up towards the tool sheds, the Trick Or Treaters tromp - giggling with little fears as they push past the cobwebs in the trees.
Hiden in a dark corner, my darling slut bottom boy will be Roy Of The Dead, dripping blood from all his orifics, and ready to pounce on the nervous visitors and chase them up the rest of the drive. Oh it was so much fun last year! Of course you can’t fool all of them, but it sure is fun trying!
What are you doing tonight, on All Hallow’s Eve? This is the one day that EVERYONE can be their innner most and secret selves. Will you be like me, reliving a girlhood fantasy, dressed as a beautiful witch all powery blue and white sparkles?
